Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has assured that wheat procurement is proceeding without hitches in the state's mandis, noting record crop arrivals. Speaking at a news conference, Saini dismissed opposition claims that the BJP government's new policies, such as biometric verification, have complicated the process for farmers.

The Chief Minister emphasized the satisfaction expressed by farmers with the revamped system, attributing the bumper crop arrivals to the resilience and hard work of the local farming community. Saini further urged opposition figures to recall the challenges farmers faced during previous administrations.

Saini celebrated the adoption of modern agricultural techniques by over 5.80 lakh farmers, which has enabled efficient procurement and quick payments. He reiterated that 24 different crops are being procured at a guaranteed Minimum Support Price, thus enhancing transparency and accountability within the sector.
