AERB Grants Operational License to Nuclear Fuel Complex-Kota

The Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) has granted an operational licence to the Nuclear Fuel Complex-Kota, marking a significant step in India's nuclear infrastructure.

Located in Rawatbhata, Rajasthan, this facility is poised to supply fuel to 700 MWe Pressurised Heavy Water Reactors, boasting an annual capacity of 500 metric tonnes of natural uranium dioxide fuel bundles.
