Sri Ganganagar's temperature soared to 45.9 degrees Celsius.
According to the Met department, Alwar recorded a temperature of 45.8 degrees, Pilani 45.3, Phalodi and Churu 44.8, Kota 44.4, Bikaner 43.8, while Jaipur recorded a maximum temperature of 43.2 degrees Celsius.
Met has predicted similar weather conditions and heatwave at isolated places in western Rajasthan over the next week.
