The Iranian oil sector is navigating turbulent waters due to a recent U.S. maritime blockade. In a statement to state television, Iran's Oil Minister, Mohsen Paknejad, emphasized that although challenges surfaced following the blockade, the government has been proactive in taking unspecified counter measures.
Paknejad assured that Iran's oil production has remained steady during the initial 40 days of conflict, with export activities continuing favorably. In his discussions, he highlighted that even in the face of obstacles, the sector has adapted to maintain its output levels.
The Oil Minister further accused their opponents of being misinformed about the ground realities, describing them as 'full of delusions.' His comments reflect the ongoing geopolitical tension and Iran's determination to avoid substantial disruptions in the oil trade.
