Brazilian aerospace leader Embraer has entered into a pivotal contract with Bharat Forge for the supply of forged raw materials, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to expanding the aerospace industry in India.
This agreement represents Embraer's foremost supply contract with an Indian firm, underscoring its strategic focus on strengthening the Indian aerospace sector. Roberto Chaves, Executive Vice President of Global Procurement and Supply Chain at Embraer, emphasized that the collaboration aligns with their broader strategy of establishing a more resilient and competitive supply chain.
Earlier this year, Embraer revealed plans to partner with the Adani Group to establish a regional aircraft manufacturing hub in India, further highlighting its expanding footprint in the country's aerospace landscape.
