Family Survives Mobile Tower Collapse in Violent Storm
In an alarming incident, a BSNL mobile tower collapsed onto a family's house in Jammu and Kashmir's Samba district due to severe winds and a storm. Thankfully, despite significant damage, no injuries were reported, as the family was in a safer part of their home during the incident.

A family in Samba district, Jammu and Kashmir, narrowly escaped disaster when a powerful storm caused a BSNL mobile tower to crash onto their house. The incident occurred in Pangdour village as violent winds, rain, and lightning lashed the area, resulting in extensive damage.
Officials confirmed that two rooms of Banarsi Dass's home were severely damaged by the blast, while nearby tin sheds and solar panels were also destroyed. Fortunately, no injuries or fatalities occurred since the family was in a different part of the house during the collapse.
Recalling the event, Dass said he heard a loud crash around midnight, prompting him to keep his children indoors. Local officials and BSNL representatives have since assessed the scene, with Dass appealing to authorities for help in rebuilding his home.
