Prime Minister Narendra Modi took center stage on Monday by inaugurating the Sardardham Hostel complex in Vadodara, a monumental facility designed to accommodate 2,000 students with equal benefits for both genders. This expansive project features hostel capabilities for 1,000 boys and 1,000 girls, supplemented with a central dining hall, library, and auditorium.

During his visit, Modi explored various sections of the Sardardham complex, including the reception, civil amenities, dining facilities, and e-Library. Adding to the significance of the day, he released a commemorative stamp and coin celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Somnath Temple's reconstruction, underscoring its deep spiritual and cultural roots.

Addressing attendees at the Somnath Amrit Mahotsav, Modi reflected on his enduring spiritual connection with the temple, positioning the celebration within the 'divine play' of Lord Sadashiv. He highlighted the temple's storied past - from symbolic resilience after historical devastations to modern renewal - portraying it as an emblem of eternal faith and cultural continuity, a journey he called an 'Amrit Yatra' of longevity and fortitude under Shiva's divine aegis.
