Nida Khan, accused in a high-profile case involving alleged sexual harassment and religious insensitivity in the Nashik Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) office, has been remanded to 14 days of judicial custody. This decision was handed down by the Nashik Road Court on Monday, where she was presented following the completion of her police remand.

The case, which has drawn considerable attention, also implicates several high-profile political figures in what Maharashtra Minister Sanjay Shirsat described as a calculated conspiracy. Shirsat claimed that AIMIM corporator Mateen Majid Patel and former MP Imtiaz Jaleel provided sanctuary to Khan, while she evaded authorities for over a month in Sambhajinagar.

As the investigation progresses, Shirsat has called for the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to thoroughly explore these allegations. A bail application for Khan has been submitted, but with five arrests and nine related cases already registered, the complexity of the matter continues to unfold.
