In a tragic incident that has sent shockwaves through Dayalpur village, a father allegedly killed his six-year-old son before taking his own life, as reported by local police. The man, identified as Sagar, was purportedly battling financial troubles linked to gambling and alcohol addiction.
Sagar had been living alone after his wife moved to Machhagar village with their son, Lakshit, and her parents. On the fateful day, Sagar brought his son back to Dayalpur, only to commit the tragic act that night by strangling Lakshit and then hanging himself, with the boy's body strapped to his chest.
The alarming occurrence came to light when a neighbor, who had last heard Lakshit's playful noises, found the bodies. Police are investigating, with preliminary findings indicating Sagar's drastic actions stemmed from his isolation and financial difficulties.
