In a groundbreaking move, the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs signed a memorandum of understanding with the Reserve Bank Innovation Hub (RBIH) to leverage artificial intelligence in combating cyber fraud.

This strategic agreement aims to revolutionize fraud risk intelligence sharing and operational coordination between the organizations, enhancing India's defenses against cyber-enabled financial crimes by focusing on culling hidden mule accounts.

The collaboration will lead to the sharing of intelligence from I4C's suspect registry, strengthening AI systems like MuleHunter.ai™ across banks to boost fraud detection capabilities nationwide. It signals a significant step forward in ensuring the safety of the digital payments ecosystem in India.
