Knowledge Realty Trust Secures Rs 500 Crore for Expansion
Knowledge Realty Trust has raised Rs 500 crore through commercial papers to support its expansion. Approved by the borrowing committee of the managing entity, the issuance involves 10,000 rupee-denominated papers valid for 91 days from May 2026. India's largest REIT, it includes premium office assets spanning 46.4 million square feet.
Knowledge Realty Trust has successfully raised Rs 500 crore to fund its expansion plans through the issuance of commercial papers. The borrowing committee of Knowledge Realty Office Management Services Pvt Ltd, which manages KRT, approved the allocation of 10,000 rupee-denominated commercial papers, as per the company's regulatory filing.
The commercial papers, worth a total principal amount of Rs 500 crore, are valid for 91 days from their allotment date on May 12, 2026. These papers have been issued at a discount and are planned to be listed on BSE Limited's wholesale debt market segment.
Sponsored by both Bengaluru-based Sattva Group and Blackstone, Knowledge Realty Trust stands as India's largest real estate investment trust. It boasts a portfolio of 29 premium office assets, covering a total of 46.4 million square feet as of the end of 2025.
