In a remarkable academic achievement, students at the Brahmrishi Bawra Shanti Vidya Peeth School in Udhampur celebrated their 100% pass rate in the recently declared CBSE Class 12 examinations. Students praised the school's nurturing environment as pivotal to their success, with the institution fostering both academic excellence and personal growth.

The school's topper, Priya Sharma, who scored 98.6% in the Humanities stream, lauded the institution for shaping students into change-makers. She emphasized the role of digital resources in studying and stressed the importance of self-study. Another student, Kavya, highlighted the effectiveness of quality study time over extensive hours and encouraged a balance with extra-curricular activities.

Meanwhile, the CBSE's overall pass percentage for Class 12 saw a decline to 85.20% from last year's 88.39%, attributed to recent changes in the assessment scheme. Among the 17,68,968 students who appeared, 15,07,109 were successful. The examination board embraced On-Screen Marking for efficiency and transparency, a move supported by the National Education Policy. Girls continued to outperform boys, with regions like Trivandrum leading in pass percentages.
