Bihar Leaders Embrace Footsteps over Fuel Amid Crisis

In an effort to set an example, Choudhary, a BJP leader who recently assumed office, reduced his convoy size and encouraged his cabinet colleagues to do the same. Initiatives under consideration include promoting work-from-home arrangements and instituting a 'no vehicle day' each week to further cut fuel dependence.

Additionally, Choudhary's administration has instructed state departments to utilize video conferencing for meetings to avoid unnecessary travel. The chief minister emphasized the importance of prudent resource use, resonating with the Prime Minister's broader strategy to shield the Indian economy from global economic disturbances.
