Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday offered prayers at the Prasanna Gangamma Temple in Chittoor district.
Accompanied by his wife, N Bhuvaneshwari, the CM offered silken raiment to the deity, according to a press release.
''The CM and his wife presented silken raiment and prasadam from the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple to Goddess Prasanna Tirupati Gangamma,'' the release said.
Earlier, the couple was accorded a traditional welcome by the temple priests.
Later, Naidu stopped by a roadside stall in Kuppam to relish tati munjulu (ice apples/palmyra fruit).
''There is no adulteration or carbide, and no trace of pesticides. Eating cool tati munjulu by the roadside is very refreshing,'' Naidu said in a post on X.
Praising Andhra Pradesh's traditional village food products, he enjoyed the summer delicacy while interacting with local vendors.
