More than 60 livestock animals were killed in a lightning strike in Pahalgam area of Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district, officials said on Thursday.
The lightning struck Lanidagen in the Pahalgam area on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday during heavy rain and thunderstorm, they said.
More the 69 livestock animals, including sheep and goats, perished in the incident.
