Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay is poised for his first trip to the national capital, traveling by a special flight from Chennai to Delhi on Wednesday at 10 am. This key visit comes after his assumption of office on May 10, with plans to engage with several high-profile political figures.
Accompanied by Tamil Nadu minister Aadhav Arjuna and other senior ministers, Vijay aims to visit the Tamil Nadu House in Delhi initially. Scheduled for a 4:30 pm meeting at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence, the Chief Minister intends to engage in a courtesy discussion with the Prime Minister. Subsequent to this meeting, further engagements are lined up.
Wednesday night will see left-wing political figures and leaders from the Indian Union Muslim League convene at Tamil Nadu House. Thursday's itinerary includes courtesy meetings with Vice President CP Radhakrishnan and other senior political stalwarts such as Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Anticipated talks with Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Mallikarjun Kharge also highlight the visit.
