Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah unveiled the towering 'Bharat Mata Sculpture' near New Vadaj Circle in Ahmedabad, in a ceremony attended by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and other notable dignitaries. The unveiling was marked by fervent chants from the crowd, celebrating national pride.

The imposing 18-foot sculpture, installed by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, saw key community figures such as Minister of State Darshna Vaghela and city Mayor Hitesh Barot in attendance, alongside local MPs, MLAs, and citizens.

Before the unveiling, Shah inaugurated and launched development projects worth Rs 340 crore across the Kalol and Gandhinagar (North) constituencies, part of a string of Rs 1,200 crore projects inaugurated in the district over recent days.

Shah also emphasized his vision to develop gardens and ponds in every village of the Kalol and Gandhinagar constituencies before the 2029 Lok Sabha elections, underscoring the ongoing development surge initiated by PM Modi 25 years ago, cementing Gandhinagar's status as a leading parliamentary constituency.

Praising the uninterrupted development from Gujarat to the national level under PM Modi, Shah noted the party's widespread influence across nearly 80 per cent of India's terrain, attributing this success to the effective implementation of the Gujarat development model.
