Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Thursday to discuss pressing development issues facing the state. The meeting centered on ongoing projects and initiatives, with Fadnavis valuing the guidance received for Maharashtra's development strategies.
Fadnavis expressed gratitude, highlighting the direction and 'positive energy' acquired from the session. In a social media update, he praised Modi's leadership and detailed the sharing of insights on Maharashtra's various projects.
The Chief Minister also conferred with Union Home Minister Amit Shah about challenges in the sugar cooperative sector and for onion-producing farmers. Promises were made regarding measures to enhance the Minimum Support Price (MSP), increase ethanol quotas, and implement loan restructuring, with further decisions expected soon.
