In Amritsar, a leader of the Aam Aadmi Party was left critically injured after being shot by unidentified individuals. The police revealed that the shooting is believed to stem from a dispute over car parking with a neighbor that has persisted for several months.
The victim, Jaipal Singh Bau, who is responsible for Ward No. 42 within the party, sustained two gunshot wounds in the attack. Emergency medical intervention was required, and Bau remains in a critical state at a private hospital. Bau is known to be closely associated with the MLA from Amritsar South, Inderbir Singh Nijjar.
