Karnataka is poised to welcome its new Congress-led government under the leadership of Chief Minister-designate DK Shivakumar, with the swearing-in ceremony scheduled for Wednesday at 4:00 PM. Ahead of this key event, Congress MLA Ashok M Pattan revealed details about the anticipated cabinet formation.
Pattan indicated that cabinet formations could occur in two phases, with the initial swearing-in involving 10 members. He hinted that subsequent appointments would be stalled until early next month due to the assembly council election and the Rajya Sabha election. The full-fledged ministry is expected to be formed thereafter.
When questioned about his inclusion in the first list of appointees, Pattan remained hopeful but uncertain, deferring decision-making to the party high command. Addressing education, DK Shivakumar articulated future plans to innovate education by integrating artificial intelligence, while extending greetings to students as the new academic session began in Karnataka.
