Ayushman Bharat Expansion: Transforming Delhi's Healthcare Landscape

Under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, nearly 100 patients in Delhi are currently undergoing treatment, as stated by Health Minister Pankaj Singh. With more than 2.42 lakh cards issued since the scheme's initiation, the government is prioritizing the enhancement of the city's healthcare infrastructure.
Minister Singh highlighted the commitment to fortifying Delhi's health framework to ensure no individual is deprived of care. Emphasizing the increase in beneficiaries utilizing the scheme, he reassured that ongoing efforts aim to widen the scheme's impact, ensuring inclusivity.
Since Delhi's adoption of the scheme, supported by an MoU with the Centre, a significant milestone was achieved with 2,42,732 Ayushman cards distributed. Furthermore, the introduction of the Vandana Yojana, providing additional support for senior citizens, has registered over 72,000 participants, reinforcing the government's focus on advancing healthcare services.
