The organization has reached out to several ministries, including those of Health, Home Affairs, and Information Technology, calling for decisive action against digital content that glamorizes these products. Their demands include the strengthening of the Prohibition of Electronic Cigarettes Act, 2019, and other relevant laws.
The group calls for the establishment of an inter-ministerial task force to monitor and curb these promotions, emphasizing the importance of digital platforms in enforcing these bans to protect children from harmful influences.
