The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has issued a directive requiring all food business operators (FBOs) to prominently display their FSSAI licenses at their premises. This move is complemented by the requirement to showcase a QR code linked to the 'Food Safety Connect' mobile app for consumer complaint registration.

This mandate applies to a wide range of establishments, including restaurants, cafes, and dhabas. The QR code is now incorporated into the front page of the FSSAI License and should be displayed in visible customer areas such as entrances and billing counters.

Moreover, businesses are encouraged to include the QR code or a direct download link for the mobile app on their websites and online ordering platforms, reinforcing FSSAI's commitment to transparency and consumer safety.
