In a significant move, food safety authorities conducted a raid at Kamdhenu Dairy's headquarters in Namhol following a viral video accusation claiming the dairy's milk was unfit for consumption. The woman's video showed a mysterious white material in the milk, sparking consumer alarm and departmental actions.
Food Safety Officer Khagendra Negi led a team to collect samples of milk, curd, and ghee, which have now been dispatched to a laboratory for rigorous testing. Should the quality tests fail, Mahesh Kashyap, Assistant Commissioner for the Food Safety Department, assures strict legal repercussions will be implemented.
Amid allegations, Kamdhenu Dairy, specializing in cow milk products, vehemently denied the accusations and revealed plans for legal action against the woman for potential brand harm.
