Nepal Halts Unauthorized IVF Camp by Indian Doctors

Nepal Medical Council has taken decisive action to halt a planned In Vitro Fertilisation consultation camp by two Indian doctors at a Kathmandu hotel.

The Council discovered that the doctors had not completed the necessary regulatory procedures, including registering their medical degrees and obtaining approval to conduct such a camp within Nepal.

After the doctors admitted their oversight in writing and promised not to repeat the error, the Council chose not to pursue any further action against them. This incident underscores the importance of following proper protocols when operating medical services across borders.
