Tragedy in Nursing College: Student Dies by Suicide

A 21-year-old nursing student was found dead by suicide in her hostel room in Gujarat's Mehsana district, police reported on Friday. The lifeless body of Asmitakumari Patel was discovered hanging, with a note indicating she was 'fed up with her life.'

The tragic incident occurred at the Merchant Nursing College where Patel, originally from Valsad, was a third-year BSc nursing student. Her suicide note expressed a lack of hope and a desire to end her life, according to police inspector D R Rao.

An investigation is currently underway to determine the exact circumstances leading to Patel's untimely death, as family and friends grapple with this heartbreaking loss.
