A 47-year-old man, severely injured in the Udhampur bus crash, has regained a new lease of life due to intricate surgery at the Government Medical College.

This transformative operation involved using specialized titanium plates to repair his shattered breastbone and ribs, stabilizing his breathing. Twenty-one casualties were reported, alongside 51 injuries, when the bus fell 100 meters into a ravine.
