In recognition of World No Tobacco Day, a healthcare initiative led by Cancer Healer Center inspired more than 23,000 individuals across India to symbolically give up smoking. The 'break up with sutta' campaign spanned 29 centres in 17 cities, urging people to relinquish cigarettes in favor of healthier alternatives.

Participants contributed to the cause by handing over approximately 7,250 cigarettes and over 5,800 cigarette boxes into designated drop-boxes. Another notable aspect of the campaign was the distribution of over 10,150 'chai is better single' cups, encouraging the choice of tea without the customary smoke.

Cancer Healer Center reimagined spaces at tea stalls and reception areas as intervention zones where smokers often engage in the habit. Managing Director Tarang Krishna emphasized that the campaign aimed to transcend the typical fear-based messages of the healthcare sector and instead encouraged tobacco cessation with cultural and behavioral motivations. The center reiterated the World Health Organization's data on the global tobacco-related mortality rate, aiming to foster a healthier lifestyle for millions.
