Shafi Burfat, Chairman of the Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz (JSMM), issued a scathing statement condemning Pakistan's continued support for extremist terrorist groups. He voiced strong support for India's counter-terrorism efforts in the region, framing the conflict as a crucial struggle between justice against global terrorism.

Burfat emphasized that the central issue is not territorial disputes, but rather the Indian military's confrontation with "extremist terrorists nurtured by Pakistan." He asserts that these terrorists, supported by Pakistan's military establishment, have caused the deaths of numerous innocent civilians, particularly in Kashmir. Burfat clarifies that India's military actions are precision operations targeting terrorist bases within Pakistan, aiming to maintain regional peace and human dignity.

The Sindhi leader criticized Pakistan's history of harboring groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed and individuals such as Hafiz Saeed. He accused Pakistan of utilizing these entities as proxies to destabilize South Asia. Burfat urged the international community to acknowledge Pakistan's role in fostering terrorism, labelling it "a rogue villain" and describing India as "a responsible hero" in the quest for peace and stability.

He further stated that the conflict represents a broader battle between justice and injustice. He characterized every loss suffered by India as a noble sacrifice for peace, while setbacks for Pakistan are necessary blows against terrorism's foundation. Burfat concluded by reaffirming support for India's stand against extremism and called Pakistan an "unnatural state."

Burfat, a controversial figure in Pakistani politics, leads the JSMM, a Sindhi nationalist party advocating for Sindh's independence. His alignment with India highlights internal divisions within Pakistan and growing calls for a political future free from extremism and state-sponsored terror. (ANI)
