China Calls for Calm Amid Rising India-Pakistan Tensions

China has expressed concern over rising tensions between India and Pakistan, urging both countries to prioritize peace and stability by adhering to international law. Recent conflicts ignited after a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam spurred India to execute precision strikes on May 7. These strikes targeted terror sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. In retaliation, Pakistan conducted multiple drone and ceasefire violations, which India claims to have neutralized effectively.
