The Central Tibetan Administration's President, Sikyong Penpa Tsering, has unveiled a new bilingual website dedicated to celebrating the 14th Dalai Lama's 90th birthday. The spiritual leader and Nobel laureate will mark this milestone on July 6.

Launched officially as the 'Ghoton' website, it aims to showcase the Dalai Lama's achievements and teachings while publicizing events during the 'Year of Compassion.' Users can access English content at hhthedalailama90.net, which provides downloadable materials for event organizers. The launch was attended by top CTA officials and included a press briefing on the site's features.

Sikyong highlighted the site's navigation, which includes categories such as Home, Dalai Lama, News, and Events, all guiding users to additional resources like dalailama.com. He spoke on the diverse program lineup for the celebrations, including a historic meeting of Tibetan leaders, cultural exhibitions, and educational events. Despite logistical challenges due to monsoon season and venue constraints, Sikyong remains confident of an inclusive and extensive event program.
