A young man named Shahzaib Ahmed tragically died shortly after being released from the custody of Pakistani security forces in Balochistan. His family alleges severe torture during his detention, as reported by The Balochistan Post. Ahmed was detained near the Manguchar Dam area during the Eid al-Adha celebrations and suffered dire conditions before his release.

Shahzaib's body, reportedly covered with signs of extreme torture, was recovered in critical condition. His family described burns, broken arms, torn fingernails, and facial swelling. They accuse his captors of pouring melted plastic onto his skin and forcing boiling water into his mouth, while providing only watermelon as food.

The incident highlights escalating reports of enforced disappearances and deaths in Balochistan, drawing attention to allegations of extrajudicial tactics by state forces. Human rights organizations demand immediate international scrutiny and actions against ongoing violations, calling the situation a breach of both Pakistani and international law.
