Nepal's Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba declared the evacuation of 11 Nepali nationals from Iran via an operation organized by India, expected to arrive home shortly. Addressing the parliament, Deuba noted that out of 16 Nepali nationals present in Iran, 11 are being evacuated now, while five remain incarcerated.

Minister Deuba highlighted a coordination with India's Ministry of External Affairs to facilitate the evacuation amidst India's own citizen rescue endeavors through Jordan. With one Nepali requiring a travel document and five others jailed due to illegal immigration, efforts are underway for their simultaneous return. From Tehran, the Nepalis traveled over 900 kilometers to Mashhad for evacuation.

As Iran-Israel tensions escalate into the second week, concerns mount over Nepali workers' safety in these volatile regions. Deuba updated legislators on over 2,000 Nepalis in Israel under a government-to-government deal, with detailed records maintained. Nepal's embassy in Israel remains non-operational, with the ambassador sheltering in a bunker, while three Nepalis stuck in Israel are to be repatriated via Egypt.
