The Ambassador of Brazil to India, Kenneth Felix Haczynski da Nobrega, highlighted the progress made in the Indo-Brazilian relations during a recent event. His remarks centered on the substantial outcomes stemming from Prime Minister Narendra Modi's state visit to Brazil in July, where a strategic framework of five pillars was established for the upcoming decade.

The diplomat underscored that two of these pillars—food security and technological innovation—are being operationalized under the Maitri 2.0 India-Brazil Cross Border Agri-Tech incubators' program. This initiative is crucial for fostering joint research efforts aimed at enhancing agricultural resilience in the face of climate change while boosting productivity.

Nobrega applauded the swift implementation of these plans, noting the collaborative efforts between Brazilian and Indian scientists. This partnership highlights the significance of the India-Brazil alliance, which both nations view as a pivotal force for global cooperation, especially relevant for the Global South. The cooperation is expected to impact not only regional stability but also global agricultural advancements.
