On Monday, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi condemned recent breaches of the ceasefire between Iran and the U.S. in light of Israeli military actions in Lebanon. Araghchi emphasized that any violation in one region impacts the entire agreement, urging accountability from the U.S. and Israel for potential consequences.

The situation intensified as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Israel Katz ordered military strikes against Hezbollah targets in Beirut. This decision follows allegations of Hezbollah's repeated ceasefire violations and attacks on Israeli territories, escalating tensions in the region.

Adding to the diplomatic complexities, U.S. President Donald Trump called for further alterations to a proposed ceasefire extension with Iran. These discussions include a 60-day reduction in hostilities and potential economic benefits for Iran, though no final agreement has been reached. Trump's focus remains on preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
