In a perplexing case of alleged forgery, Goa police have charged a man with entering Dabolim International Airport using counterfeit tickets. The suspect, identified as Manuel Kavin D'Souza from South Goa's Sancoale village, reportedly told police that he had unknowingly purchased the fake tickets through a travel agency.

D'Souza managed to bypass security by presenting these tickets to the Central Industrial Security Force at the airport's entry gate. However, upon reaching the airline counter, the fraudulent nature of the tickets was discovered, including those for flights operated by Air India and Qatar Airways, officials reported.

Despite the gravity of the allegations, there have been no arrests, as the investigation remains active. D'Souza is facing charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for forgery and cheating.
