Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has issued directives for increased security and decisive action against illegal residents from Pakistan and Bangladesh. This move comes as part of 'Operation Sindoor', an initiative to ensure heightened vigilance in the state.
These measures include canceling leaves of emergency service employees, tightening security at vital installations, and increasing patrols, particularly around foreign consulates and IT companies. The state also plans to hold a pro-Army rally to reinforce support for national security efforts.
A special attention is directed at curbing misinformation and maintaining resources such as blood and food supplies. The Hyderabad police are actively identifying illegal residents as part of this operation, focusing on the city's critical defense and public infrastructures.
