In a calculated military response early Wednesday, India's armed forces conducted Operation Sindoor, targeting nine terrorist sites associated with groups like Jaish-e-Mohammad and Lashkar-e-Taiba in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
The 25-minute operation was launched to bring justice to those behind the recent Pahalgam terror attack, which Indian officials claim was coordinated from across the border.
Despite Pakistan's accusations of provocation, Indian authorities stressed that the mission was measured and aimed solely at dismantling terrorist infrastructure, avoiding any escalation of regional tensions.
