Nigerian National Arrested in Delhi with MDMA Worth Rs 45 Lakh
Delhi Police have arrested a Nigerian national, Peter Okwuchukwu Anaekpo, for possessing MDMA valued at Rs 45 lakh. The arrest followed a week of surveillance and a tip-off, leading police to track him via CCTV. They recovered 103.8 grams of MDMA from his residence.

Authorities in Delhi have apprehended a 50-year-old Nigerian man for possessing MDMA, commonly known as ecstasy, estimated to be worth Rs 45 lakh. This development was revealed by police officials on Wednesday.
Following a week-long covert operation, the accused, identified as Peter Okwuchukwu Anaekpo, was detained. Acting on a tip-off, law enforcement tracked his activities through CCTV footage in various locations around Sagarpur.
On the evening of May 5, officers set up an ambush near Anaekpo's West Sagarpur residence. After being caught stepping out of his building, he was questioned, leading to the discovery of 103.8 grams of MDMA hidden in sofa cushions during a search of his home. Investigators reported that Anaekpo arrived in India via Nepal seven years ago, initially residing in Mumbai before moving to Delhi, where he became involved in the illegal drug trade.
