A 17-year-old boy sustained severe injuries after being shot twice in an apparent revenge attack in Delhi's Geeta Colony, authorities confirmed on Wednesday. The incident occurred around 9:15 p.m. Tuesday as the teen was heading home post a visit to his aunt in Rani Garden.

Police have apprehended two suspects, Amaan (19) and another 17-year-old, in connection with the attack. Preliminary investigations suggest the perpetrators were associates of Shahid and Irshad, who were allegedly murdered by the victim in September, as stated by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdara) Prashant Gautam.

The attack took place while the victim was on his scooter; he was shot in the head and abdomen. A friend transported him to a nearby hospital via auto-rickshaw. A country-made pistol was recovered from the suspects, and a case has been registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Arms Act as the investigation proceeds.
