Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel met with key officials from the armed forces to assure them of the state's unwavering support in their operations. This engagement is part of an effort to fortify coordination among government departments and military organizations amidst escalating regional tensions.

Harsh Sanghavi, minister of state for home, outlined the initiative's purpose following the meeting in Gandhinagar. He emphasized the collaboration among various departments, including police and border district officials, alongside military representatives from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Border Security Force, and Coast Guard.

The meeting follows the Indian armed forces' missile strikes on terror targets in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir under 'Operation Sindoor,' countering recent threats on Indian soil. The Gujarat government has declared a high alert in districts close to the border, implementing precautionary measures like blackouts and enhanced emergency services readiness.
