The Human Rights and Peace Society of Nepal organized demonstrations outside the Indian and Pakistani embassies on Friday, calling for an end to tensions and promoting peace in South Asia.
Activists, including Krishna Pahadi and Renuka Paudel, condemned terrorism and extremism, carrying placards with slogans promoting peace, such as 'No one will win in war, only humanity gets defeated.'
The group addressed concerns over the Indus Water Treaty and Pakistan's actions regarding the Pahalgam terror attack, delivering a memorandum to the Indian Embassy and sending a letter to the Pakistani Embassy.
