Tragic Family Feud: Grandson Arrested in Grandfather’s Land Dispute Death

In a distressing incident in Uttar Pradesh's Baghpat district, a family dispute over land resulted in tragedy as a grandson allegedly killed his grandfather. Sachin Pawar, 29, was arrested after reportedly beating his 75-year-old grandfather, Satyaveer Singh, to death with a stick on Saturday night.
Singh, a resident of Patti Madan town, was taken to a Community Health Centre in Tikri and was later referred to a hospital in Meerut. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries en route to Meerut, according to police reports released on Monday.
The altercation stemmed from a disagreement over the division of family property, leading to a violent outburst from Pawar. A case has been registered against him following a complaint from the deceased's son, Lokendra. Police have confirmed that Pawar was taken into custody on Sunday night, and the body has been sent for a post-mortem examination.
