Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed state officials to prioritize housing for the underprivileged and ensure that essential medical care is accessible to all, according to a government release issued Monday.
During the Janata Darshan at Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur, Adityanath stressed the inclusion of all eligible individuals in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to secure permanent housing. He insisted no needy individual should be denied medical treatment due to financial constraints, and urged for expedited hospital funding through the Chief Minister's Discretionary Fund.
The CM also addressed land encroachment complaints, ordering strict legal action. He emphasized prompt and sensitive resolution of citizens' grievances, underscoring the need for thorough investigations and accountability in cases of continued harassment.
