Arrest After Encounter: Father-Son Duo Held in Murder Case

In a dramatic turn of events, Zulfikar and his son Rehan were apprehended by police after an encounter linked to a murder case. The duo is accused of killing their relative Chand, a teenager whose body was found near a canal after he went missing.
Nagina Circle Officer Anjani Kumar reported that Chand disappeared on the evening of May 7, and his lifeless body was uncovered on May 11, pointing to foul play. The investigation revealed past disputes between Chand and his uncle Zulfikar, leading to heightened suspicion.
Police intercepted the suspects speeding towards Nagina at Islamabad crossing, prompting a gunfire exchange. Injured in the gun battle, Zulfikar and Rehan were taken to a hospital. Authorities recovered a country-made pistol from the scene and continue to search for two other suspects, Naeem and Danish.
