The accused, Joynila Tongsin Anal from Manipur, relocated to Delhi in October 2024 and initially secured a call centre job in Munirka. However, she soon quit to allegedly focus on burglaries in areas including Kishangarh and Safdarjung Enclave, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southwest) Amit Goel.
The arrest followed burglary complaints at Kishangarh and Safdarjung Enclave police stations. Stolen items included electronics and jewelry. Anal was apprehended on June 14, confessing to the crimes.
