Venkata Ravi Lakshmi Chaitanya, a prominent Maoist leader and spouse of the deceased Maoist Chalapathi, was among the three ultras killed in a recent police encounter. The operation took place in Kintukuru village of Andhra Pradesh's Alluri Seetharama Raju district.

The fallen included two other Maoists: Gajarla Ravi, alias Uday, a notable member of the AOB Special Zonal Committee, and Anju. Their demise came during a targeted operation guided by intelligence inputs and executed by the state's elite Greyhounds unit.

This strike significantly impairs the Andhra-Odisha Border's Maoist structure. Police recovered weapons, and further intensified search operations are underway in the region to root out remaining rebels.
