Sreenivas Steps Up as Haryana's New Electoral Chief

A Sreenivas, a senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, has been officially appointed as the Chief Electoral Officer of Haryana, according to a government order released on Thursday.
Sreenivas, who previously served as the Secretary for the Energy Department and Managing Director of the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited, will now helm the Election Department. His appointment comes as part of a recent administrative reshuffle.
This move relieves Pankaj Agarwal from his responsibilities as the state's electoral chief, marking a significant shift in Haryana's electoral management ahead of upcoming polls.
