In a shocking turn of events, an elderly couple in Faridabad faced a terrifying robbery after two men, under the pretense of needing water, forced their way into the couple's home. The intruders threatened eighty-year-old Raghunandan Gandhi and his seventy-five-year-old wife, Vijaya, with an axe.
Once inside, the robbers tied the couple up and made off with cash amounting to Rs 40,000, valuable jewelry, and a car. The incident occurred in Faridabad's Sector 15A, an area known for housing high-profile residents.
Despite the gravity of the situation, the couple managed to free themselves and alert the authorities. Inspector Sunil Kumar of the Faridabad Central police station confirmed that multiple teams are working tirelessly to apprehend the perpetrators.
