A 35-year-old man, Ravi Sharma, was fatally shot outside the Muradnagar police station in Ghaziabad district while attempting to file a complaint, according to official reports.
Following the incident, Muradnagar SHO Shailendra Singh Tomar and sub-inspectors Subey Singh and Mohit Singh were suspended, citing negligence. The dramatic incident unfolded around 11:30 a.m. when Ravi Sharma accompanied by his father, Ravinder Sharma, arrived at the police station.
Police revealed that two assailants, identified as Monty and Ajay, approached the victim on a bike, fired at him, and quickly fled. Despite rushed efforts to save him, he was declared dead at a hospital in Modinagar. The assailants are reportedly from the same village as the victim's family, sparking tensions that culminated in the family staging a protest with his body outside the station.
